# How do I edit a custom Agent?

Open the Agent list, select the Agent, and use its **Edit** or settings action. Update the instructions or configuration, then save and test the change with a representative request.

If the edit control is unavailable, you may not be an owner or editor. Ask the Agent’s owner or a workspace administrator to update it.
