# Collaborate in conversations

Use a conversation to work with an Agent and bring colleagues into the same thread when their input is useful.

## Mention a colleague

1. In the message composer, type **@** to open the mention picker.
2. Search for and select a colleague.
3. Send the message with a clear request.

A colleague mention notifies them and brings them into the conversation. When an Agent asks to invite a colleague, review the invitation prompt before adding them.

## Share a conversation

1. Open the conversation.
2. Select **Copy the link** in the top-right corner.
3. Send the link to colleagues who should join.

People who join can see the conversation history and work with its Agents only if they also have access to those Agents. Check the audience before sharing, especially when a conversation uses Agents from restricted Spaces. A conversation you have not shared remains private to you.

## Ask an Agent to escalate

When creating or editing an Agent, explain when it should ask a person for help and whom to mention. For example: “If you cannot answer confidently, mention @Aisha for billing questions and explain what information is missing.”

The Agent should identify why it needs human input; the person remains responsible for the decision.

## Keep track of conversations

The sidebar marks unread conversations with a blue dot and conversations waiting for your input with a yellow indicator. Opening a conversation marks it as read. Join conversations you need to follow, and leave ones you no longer need. Your profile notification settings control alerts and email digests for unread messages.
