# Example: a competitive research Pod

Product or commercial teams can use a Restricted Pod to organise approved competitive material and prepare dated comparison briefs. Treat the Pod as a collaboration space, not as proof that every market signal is current or complete.

## Set it up

* Add the team members who need the research and name a person to maintain the sources.
* Organise approved product comparisons, win/loss notes, customer feedback, and public references in **Files**.
* Record each source’s date, market, and known limitations.
* Create review tasks for product trials or source checks.

## Prepare a brief

Ask the Agent to compare one named competitor on a specific question, such as a product capability or buyer requirement. Request a table with claim, evidence, source date, and confidence, followed by gaps and questions that need current confirmation. If web research is enabled, include original links and publication dates; then open the pages and verify them.

## Keep information current

Assign a human owner to review dated sources and correct obsolete claims. Scheduled monitoring or alerts require an enabled source and explicit configuration; do not assume the Agent continually monitors competitors in the background. Before sharing outside the team, check confidentiality and remove unverified or commercially sensitive claims.
