Pod members and roles - Counso AI

Members are managed from a Pod’s Settings. Check the intended audience before adding someone: Pod members can read its conversations and shared files.

Role	Typical permissions
Member	Participate in conversations, create and work on tasks, and access shared files.
Editor	Member permissions, plus managing membership, roles, Pod details, visibility and other shared settings.

Add a member

Open the Pod and go to Settings.
Choose Manage in the Members section.
Search by name or email and select the intended person.
Grant Editor only if they should manage the Pod; otherwise leave them as a Member.
Send the invitation and confirm that the person appears in the member list.

Change a role or remove access

Use the member’s menu in Pod settings to change their role or remove them. Confirm the action before applying it. Keep at least one Editor so the Pod remains manageable; the exact controls may depend on workspace policy.

Leaving a Pod

Use the Pod menu to leave. If you are the last Editor, assign another trusted Editor first. Removing someone from a Pod does not automatically revoke their access to an external source or another workspace area; review those permissions separately.
