Agent tools
Google Calendar
The Google Calendar tool uses each user’s own Google account to search and manage calendar events. It is a personal-credential tool: an event is visible only if the authorizing user has access to its calendar.
A workspace administrator adds Google Calendar from Spaces → Tools → Add Tools. Complete any administrator setup requested by the form, then each person connects the Google account whose calendar should be used. Add the tool to the Agent and begin with a bounded event search or a read of one known event.
For event creation or updates, specify the calendar, attendees, time zone, start/end time, and recurrence clearly. Ask for a preview before changing or sending invitations, and verify the same event in Google Calendar afterward. If an event is absent, check whether the acting user has access to the calendar and whether the requested time zone or date range is correct.
